Mathew Warren (1797-1849) owned this property on Line Creek in the 1840s. It
included the mouth of Elkhorn Branch. One of
Alfred Warren's land
grants had its beginning point on the ridge seen above the barn.
Mathew was a long-time member and pastor at
Line Creek Baptist
Church.
