The "Big Spring" on
Skeggs Creek |

The "Big Springs" on Skeggs Creek is mentioned for the first time in
the 12 Feb 1798 land survey for Jacob Myers, later patented by William
Daugherty, which lay near the mouth of Skeggs Creek.
The spring is also mentioned in a 14 Nov 1849 survey for Holbert McClure II.
